May Is Tick-Borne Disease Awareness Month In North Carolina

Governor Pat McCrory has proclaimed May as Lyme Disease Awareness Month in order to raise awareness about tick-borne associated diseases and their prevention in the state of North Carolina. With summer fast approaching and people spending more time outdoors, it is important for everyone to learn about, and take precautions against tick-borne disease.
