NatCapLyme awarded a grant to The Blue Ridge Lyme Link, LLC, a Virginia Medical practice dedicated to providing compassionate medical care to Lyme patients and those suffering with other tick-borne diseases in the underserved area of the Shenandoah Valley and beyond.  NatCapLyme was instrumental in financing the project of moving this practice from a virtual world into a physical location, allowing for more complete and thorough care to those individuals it serves. NatCapLyme awarded a grant to Lindsay Keys and her The Quiet Epidemic Team to help bring their special award-winning documentary, The Quiet Epidemic to the U.S. Capitol for a special reception and screening.  Hosted by Senator Richard Blumenthal with a special appearance by actor Chris Meloni, the event brought together legislators, medical professionals, patients, advocates, and newcomers, all eager to support the cause. The event left attendees with a deeper understanding of Lyme and tick-borne diseases and the problems Lyme patients encounter.
