Unite to Fight with the Virtual 2020 Lyme March

September 13, 2020, 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM

At NatCapLyme, we are very concerned about the lack of acknowledgment and research funding for the persistent form of Lyme and tick-borne diseases. Therefore, we are helping several other advocacy groups draw attention to these issues by passing on information about the Green Envelope Project’s Lyme March 2020 Online Event on Sunday, September 13 from 1:00 to 5:00 pm. This is a FREE event.

Participants will be asked to send messages to their lawmakers, utilizing the VoterVoice online platform donated by NatCapLyme. VoterVoice easily allows individuals to send messages to their specific legislators with one click of a button.

As a member of NatCapLyme, we are including the link below so that you too can educate your representatives on why a congressional investigative hearing is urgently needed to uncover why Lyme and tick-borne diseases have received so little funding and acknowledgment for more than 40 years.

Helping create change for the Lyme community is the focus of the Lyme March 2020 Online Event. They will be honoring those who have passed from Lyme Disease with a candlelight vigil, numerous guest speakers will present on relevant Lyme topics, including activities to contact your lawmakers. Special musical guest Ashley Baker will be singing. As stated on their website, “We may not be physically together but we will be united, we will be strong, and we will make a difference.”

Let your voice be heard loudly and clearly and ask your representatives for a congressional investigative hearing to understand why so little is being done to advance Lyme and tick-borne diseases!
